What is a Podcast?
A podcast is a way of distributing audio or video across the Internet that lets your computer
automatically discover that new audio is available. If you have a program called a "news aggregator"
or a "podcatcher" you can receive the latest City Reformed sermons as they're posted. If you're using
iTunes, you already have a podcatcher.
The name comes from a contraction of "iPod" and "Broadcast". You don't need an iPod to receive City
Reformed sermons this way. You just need a computer with an Internet connection and a way to play mp3
audio files and one of the programs listed below. If you have iTunes or Windows Media Player you can
already play mp3 files.
