What is a Podcast?

A podcast is a way of distributing audio or video across the Internet that lets your computer automatically discover that new audio is available. If you have a program called a "news aggregator" or a "podcatcher" you can receive the latest City Reformed sermons as they're posted. If you're using iTunes, you already have a podcatcher.

The name comes from a contraction of "iPod" and "Broadcast". You don't need an iPod to receive City Reformed sermons this way. You just need a computer with an Internet connection and a way to play mp3 audio files and one of the programs listed below. If you have iTunes or Windows Media Player you can already play mp3 files.

If you already have podcatcher software installed you can subscribe to the podcast by first clicking on the Subscribe to the City Reformed Podcast! button and then copying the link from the Address bar of your web browser into your podcatcher.
