Craig and Mell Jones

Craig and Mell Jones (and their sons Brett and Dean) are all native born Zimbabweans. Craig is an ordained pastor and began his ministry in 2000 teaching at the Theological College of Zimbabwe. In 2024, Craig moved into full time ministry training leaders of the growing Zimbabwe Presbytery as well as assisting in preaching responsibilities. Mell does volunteer work with “Our Neighborhood Ministries” Babies Home, leads bible studies and helps to coordinate mission trips when visitors come from overseas. They both attend City Presbyterian church in Bulawayo where Craig serves as an elder.

PRAY FOR THE JONES FAMILY
We are so grateful to know that so many of you pray for us – life in Zimbabwe can be like living in the Wild West, you never know what is waiting around the next corner. But we are thankful that God does and so we can boldly walk on, knowing the One who goes before.

1) Give thanks!  The first rain of the season has fallen. We are grateful for every drop. Pray that the rain would continue allowing people to grow their crops and feed their livestock.

2) Pray that for each of us that we would press in to our Savior. We are longing to know Him more and be made more in the likeness of His Son.

3) Pray for the many people who are looking for real peace and joy, that the Lord would open their eyes to the real source of peace and joy!

4) Please be praying for the new students in the RUF program, pray that they would be challenged by Scripture and that they would understand fully who Jesus is for them and what He has done.

5) Pray for the leaders of the world that they would put their hope in the One true God!
