Main Idea: The Living God is active and able to save.
Introduction: We encounter God as a character who enters redemptive history to save his people. God is not a flat stereotypical character, but multi-faceted.
#1.) God is both set apart in holiness and attached to his people
#2.) God is infinite/eternal and he enters our story to take action in time & space
#3.) These characteristics of God are present in Jesus, who is active and able to save
