Your Child’s SafetyThe safety of your children is a priority to us. All children are checked in at the beginning of Christian Education classes through an online check-in system, and checked out when they are picked up. In the nursery, children and parents receive corresponding identification labels to ensure their safety. Additionally, we require all of our volunteers to go through Pennsylvania’s mandatory background checks, additional training, and Session approval. You can read our Children’s Ministry Health & Safety Policy HERE, and our Nursery Health & Safety Policy HERE. |
Our VisionThrough the guidance of the Holy Spirit, under the authority of church leadership, and in partnership with parents, we will faithfully teach the gospel and demonstrate the love of Christ to all children so that they will become disciples of Christ who trust, serve, worship, and obey Him now and into eternity to the glory of God the Father.

Children's Church
Children are welcome to remain in the service with their parents! Children ages 4-7 are invited to continue their worship through song, Bible reading, and response time during the sermon. We want to build a foundation of understanding on which faith can grow, and train our children to set their minds on God’s truth and to know Jesus as the Cornerstone of their lives.
Younger children (ages 4-5) memorize the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the 10 Commandments alongside games and Bible lessons that bring solid doctrine to life.
Those 6-7 years old learn about the elements of worship in an age-specific way as they prepare to fully participate in the worship service.

Vacation Bible School
Join us for VBS 2024!
We're headed back to Hometown Nazareth to meet Jesus' mom, Mary. We'll hear stories that only Mary could tell and have conversations with shopkeepers in Nazareth's Marketplace, where kids will stand up for their faith among people who doubt that the carpenter's son is really God's son. July 15-19 2024 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM Vietnam Veteran's Pavilion Register a child or sign up to volunteers here: https://www.myvbs.org/CRPC/ |
What is VBS?
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a fun-filled program hosted in the summer months that creates opportunities to share the gospel with the children of our church, children who attend other churches, and children who don't attend church at all! A week of VBS usually includes games, music, snacks, crafts, and Bible lessons.

Children’s Ministry Team
The Children’s Ministry Team (CMT) was formed to assist the Leadership of Nursery and Children’s Ministry. They are servant leaders who hold the important role of guarding the vision and mission of our ministry, as well as promoting the interests of children and families in our congregation.
Disciplers
Disciplers are the hands and feet of ministry as we seek to come alongside parents. They are the Nursery Volunteers, Children’s Church Teachers, Sunday School Teachers, and often volunteer at children’s events throughout the year. Though they serve in many places, their role is the same: to come alongside parents to teach children the good news of the covenant of grace and disciple them in the context of the community to which they belong, so that they will become disciples of Christ who trust, serve, worship, obey, and glorify God.
